With the help of Ine Kjelgård and Maximilian Vincenz Schob

The outline of the project is born out of our will to preserve the current physical and visual approach to the Follo Museum complex. Partly hidden behind a rocky hill covered with trees and mosses, the existing building defines a strong horizontal skyline. Organized in a crescent wrapping around the hill, the new buildings extend this roofscape under the tree canopies. The new workshop is a hybrid space, at the intersection between a museum and a functional workshop, and addresses several audiences at once. The program is divided into three buildings—the Museum, the Byggehall and the Læringsfabrikk—interconnected through a landscape and architectural promenade.
